Our vaccination efforts continue on two fronts. Based on available supply we vaccinate people from our township waiting list at the Mercer County community college. When it’s your turn, you will get a call from the West Windsor Health department notifying you of the date and time. You can also get vaccinated at the college or Cure arena through state’s NJVSS system. If you have a link from the state to schedule, both MCCC and Cure Arena should show up as sites when vaccine is available. If you have the link, please keep checking the site frequently. At this time there is no set schedule when slots become available.
A number of people have asked - If I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 do I still need to avoid non-essential travel and follow quarantine recommendations?
Answer: YES. At this time, the recommendations to avoid non-essential travel and adherence to testing/quarantine guidelines both pre and post travel, remain in effect regardless of vaccination status.
Last two weeks have been difficult with a number of snow storms. Thanks to DPW, police and emergency responders for working day and night to keep the roads clear and us safe. Today’s picture from Kris Orr shows beauty of winter in West Windsor. Personally, I would enjoy the beauty lot more if I didn’t have to shovel my driveway to get there. ?
Have a great weekend and be safe.
