PERMIT APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLINE ONLY THROUGH THE SPATIAL DATA LOGIC (SDL) PORTAL
Marlboro Township offers commuter parking along the Route 9 corridor to Marlboro and Manalapan residents, as well as to residents of other jurisdictions. Manalapan residents may now apply for a parking permit at any Township commuter parking facility. Non-residents of jurisdictions other than Manalapan may apply for a parking permit at the Texas Road parking facility. There are three commuter parking lots, which require permits, and one metered daily parking lot open to the general public.

Parking permits are required for all three parking commuter lots from Monday to Friday between the hours of 4:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and are issued by the Administration Office. The Business Administrator shall not issue more than two permits to any Marlboro household, and shall not issue more than one permit to any Manalapan or non-resident household.
NOTE: Permit holders must renew by 03/31/2023. After this date, parking spaces of permit holders shall be forfeited and offered to applicants maintained on the waiting list and non-residents.

If you have not already done so, please sign up for an account on Marlboro Township’s SDL Portal at the link below (SDL Account Instructions). Include your address in your profile so that your parking permit application will auto-populate.
PERMIT VEHICLE CHANGE AND TEMPORARY LICENSE PLATE PROCEDURES
Should you need to replace a vehicle, add a vehicle to your account, or change a temporary license plate to a permanent license plate, mail your current permit tag (STRIKE OUT WHICH VEHICLE IS TO BE REPLACED) with copies of the new vehicle’s registration, insurance, a check in the amount of $25 made payable to Marlboro Township and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Township of Marlboro, Attn: Parking Permit Bureau, 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Alternatively, you may deliver and deposit your documents in the lobby drop off box (opened 24/7) located in the Administration building. If you need to park in the commuter lot while waiting for your replacement permit tag, please leave a voicemail message with the police at 732-536-0100 ext.1549, and include your name, address, parking permit and license plate numbers.
LOST PERMITS REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
Lost permits are subject to a $25.00 fee. Complete the Lost Parking Permit Investigation Form
Mail the form, a check made payable to Marlboro Township in the amount of $25.00 and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Township of Marlboro, Attn: Parking Permit Bureau, 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Alternatively, you may deliver and deposit your documents and the check in the lobby drop off box (opened 24/7) located in the Administration building.
COMMUTER PARKING ALTERNATIVES
- Manalapan Franklin Lane Lot
Marlboro and Manalapan have a reciprocal agreement for use of the Union Hill and Franklin Lane parking facilities. The Franklin Lane parking facility currently has a waiting list. If you wish to be added to the Franklin Lane lot wait list, contact the Manalapan Clerk at 732 446-8315.

No fee. Commuter-Parking Lot (Municipal – Public Works Department).
