Winter Storm Quinn #3
Dear Resident,
The snow has stopped and the Department of Public Works will continue their storm cleanup throughout the night. Currently, JCP&L reports that approximately 1800 Marlboro homes are without power. Downed power lines and trees have closed roads and make travel dangerous. We ask that you stay home and allow JCP&L, Police, First Responders and DPW clear access.
I have been in contact with JCP&L and they have crews working throughout the night. If you have not done so already, please report your outage to JCP&L by calling 888-LIGHTSS (888-544-4877) or using one of the other methods detailed here: http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/storm/A-Beacon-in-the-Storm.pdf Reporting your outage allows JCP&L to target restorations more effectively and gives you the opportunity to receive updates as they are available.
Free ice and water for customers without power are available at these local locations:
Stop & Shop, 160 Village Center Dr Freehold, 07728
Saker Shoprite , 280 Rt 9 N. Morganville, NJ 07751
Saker Shoprite , 3585 Rt 9 N. Freehold, NJ 07728
Saker Shoprite , 318 Lloyd Rd. Aberdeen, NJ 07747
We remind you not call the Police for storm or snow removal updates. It is vital that their lines stay open for emergencies.
Marlboro K-8 has announced a 2-hour delayed opening and FRHSD a 90-minute delay. As this can change, please make sure to check their websites for updates. Marlboro Recreation morning programs are cancelled.
Be assured that in case of an emergency, our police and first responders will be able to reach you. We will update you on JCP&Lās restorations as they become available. Please stay at home and safe. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
