RE: Teen Advisory Committee Meeting
Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 7:30pm
Dear parent/guardian,
If you are the parent/guardian of a Marlboro teen age 13 and up, consider encouraging them to be a part of the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) and attending the back to school meeting in Town Hall this Thursday, September 8 from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.
Now in excess of 1700 registered members, TAC was formed in late summer 2007 with the support of Mayor Hornik in an effort to give the teens of Marlboro a voice in our local government and to enhance their leadership skills. TAC members give back to the community in an effort to support Mayor Hornik’s “Do Good” initiative, have community service hours opportunities and take part in activities that enhance their college resume.
In addition to volunteer initiatives, TAC also meets as a group at large approximately every other month in the Town Hall Court Room (Based on current Covid guidelines). TAC members must be at least 13 years old by the end of the year they register for TAC. To join TAC, attend the upcoming meeting and to receive emails for meetings and events click here to register:

To ensure that all volunteer hours are accounted for, print out and bring the Community Service form HERE to each event for signature by the event coordinator. Questions regarding your service hours or signatures for National Honor Society should email directly to .
You can learn more about TAC HERE. We hope your teen will become a member of our vibrant TAC group.
Mayor Jon Hornik
