Update
Dear Resident,
Since my last Weekend Update, we celebrated the start of the fall season with our 37th annual Marlboro Day. The weather was perfect and it was great to be back and see friends and neighbors enjoying the vendors, entertainment, rides and food trucks. Thank you to the recreation team who work all year to make Marlboro Day great. Please keep an eye out for upcoming fall events including Trunk or Treat and the Halloween parade.
Our community also came together for a more solemn occasion as we honored and remembered the Marlboro residents and all those lost in the attacks of September 11, twenty years ago. My deep appreciation to the Marlboro Police, Fire and First Aid, CERT, Veterans and Volunteers Committee, Clergy, community leaders and the Township Council. I want to especially thank Council President Colonel Jeff Cantor who spoke so eloquently about the loss and sadness we feel.
Marlboro residents come together in times of need and in times of celebration. That is what makes us a great community.
