Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
At the Township Council meeting last night I presented a Mayoral Proclamation and a Certificate from the Monmouth County Commissioners acknowledging and honoring Marlboro’s 175 (‘Demisemiseptcentennial’) anniversary. We have been sharing pictures on social media and are working with our Historic Commission to create a webpage documenting our history and will share that link when it is ready.
Please see below for programs and notices.
NOTICES
Brush Collection – Brush collection continues by zone. To ensure the safety of our streets and to prevent flowing, please review the regulations on page 10 of the Recycling Calendar or in the email HERE.
Inclement Weather Notice - We remind residents that the winter months bring a greater chance of inclement weather, all curbside collections are weather permitting and are subject to cancellations or rescheduling by the Marlboro Office of Emergency Management. Notice will be made via email and social media. For that reason, items may not be placed curbside more than once week prior to your scheduled pickup week. We thank you for your cooperation.
First Quarter Property Tax Notice – Today last day to pay first quarter property taxes to avoid interest. The tax office is open until 8pm tonight (Friday). Note that interest charges on payments made after the grace period (2/10) are calculated back to the February 1st due date. A drop box is located in the vestibule of Town Hall and is available 24/7. All payments left in the drop box by 8:00 pm on February 10th will be credited that day and will not be subject to interest.
