Weekend Update – Independence Day Edition
Dear Resident,
I hope that everyone was able to stay cool as we experienced our first heat wave of the summer. The Marlboro Recreation Camp welcomed back our campers and the Marlboro Swim Club began operating on the daily summer schedule. We missed our campers last year and, by their smiling faces, we think they missed us. If the hot weather made you wish you had a pool, we remind you that Swim Club memberships are still available. See below for more.
This is Independence Day Weekend and the Township Municipal offices and the recycling center will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the holiday. The police are open 24/7 and can be reached at 732-536-0100. Emergencies dial 9-1-1.
The Marlboro Farmers Market will be open on Sunday, July 4th with holiday hours of 9am to noon. This week’s vendors include new and returning favorites. Everything you need for your July 4th Barbeque is available. You can read about our vendors in my letter HERE and by following the Facebook and Instagram pages.

As we head into the holiday weekend, our fire officials asked me to remind residents that fireworks are dangerous to children, pets, and property and suggest that you leave the lighting to the professionals. Please save the date for our Township concert and fireworks to be held on Sunday, August 8 beginning at 7pm.
I wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day Weekend. See you at the Farmers Market Sunday.
Yours in community,
