Inclement Weather
The safety of our members, their guests and our staff is our top priority. Therefore when the forecast calls for inclement weather we must sometimes make the difficult decision not to open the Swim Club for the day or to close the Swim Club in the middle of the day. The club is equipped with a lightning detection system that alerts us to any impending storm threats which would require all members and guests to leave the facility and seek shelter in a vehicle.
Diapers
Children in diapers are welcome to use the kiddie or intermediate pool. For the health and safety of all, they are required to wear swim diapers.
Use of flotation device
Infants and toddlers are not permitted in the Swim Club main pool. Any infant or toddler who is in the arms of another person, or who is being propped up or held by another person and or flotation device will not be permitted in the Swim Club main pool.
Pavilion Rental
The Marlboro Swim Club Pavilion is available for members to rent on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY. Please contact the recreation office for details.
Smoking/ Alcohol
Marlboro Swim Club is a non-smoking facility; however, a designated smoking area is provided outside the Swim Club. Alcohol is not permitted within the Swim Club or any park within the Township, except during specially advertised events.
Guest Books
Guests are welcome at the Swim Club. Guest books can be purchased online through a member’s Community Pass account or in person at the Swim Club. Guest books are sold only to current members and can be used only by the member purchasing that guest book. Books are $80 for 20 passes. Members may purchase as many books as they like and passes do not expire. Members must accompany their guests to the Swim Club and are responsible for the conduct of those guests.
Waterslides
The Swim Club has a dive tank with two diving boards and two waterslides. There is a 48” height requirement to use the two water slides.
Does the swim club provide lounge chairs for the members?
No, members and guests must bring their own chairs each day and take them home at the end of the day.
III. Swim Team
Do I have to be a member for my child to be on the swim team?
Any child on the swim team must have a Swim Club membership. If the child is 15 years or older they may have an individual membership. If not, they must be a part of a membership that includes an adult. Note that in the case of an individual membership, spectators are only allowed into the facility with a guest pass or during a swim meet.
Is a tryout required?
New swim team members must try out for the swim team to ensure they are able to swim the strokes and distance required for their age group. Speed is not a factor, and swimmers of all abilities are welcome. There is a swim team participation fee per child ($25.00) in addition to the family swim club membership.
