Weekend Update – Father’s Day Edition
Dear Resident,
The Marlboro Farmers Market is open on Father’s Day this Sunday, June 19 from 9am to 1pm. A perfect start to the day, bring dad to the market to enjoy a cold brew from the coffee stand and a Jersey breakfast empanada. Take home beer from Carton Brewing or spirits from one of the distilleries. Produce and food for the BBQ along with breads, pickles, sweets, gelato and more make for a delicious backyard BBQ. PUBLIC SAFETY
Take the Safety Pledge – Thank you to the residents who already took the pledge. If you have not yet done so, please click HERE and complete the on-line form. We appreciate your patience as Police Officers continue to deliver signs to the many residents who took the pledge. Continue to lock your car, remove your key fob and keep valuables that are left in your car out of sight. The 'See Something, Say Something and We Will Do Something' initiative continues to be effective and I thank all residents for your support and cooperation. Please do not hesitate. If you see something suspicious or out of place, call the police.

Marlboro Swim Club –Want a tour or ready to join? Visit the swim club during open hours this weekend. The Swim Club offers a swim team, water aerobics, family fun nights, swim lessons and more. Cricket Field Dedication – Please join me for an official grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Marlboro Township cricket field on Saturday, June 25 at 11am near the H&L soccer turf fields behind the Marlboro Middle School on Route 520. All are welcome
Paper Shredding Event – Saturday, June 25 from 9am to 1pm or until the truck has reached capacity. This event is for Township residents only. Please see FLYER for more.
Mayor’s Charity Softball Event – Saturday, June 25 is the 10th annual softball tournament benefitting STOMP the Monster, a non-profit organization providing financial and other support to cancer patients. Please stop by the Union Hill ball fields at any time during the day to watch some ball and enjoy the afternoon.

Marlboro Public School Survey- The Marlboro Township Public Schools are seeking feedback from community stakeholders on how Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds should be used for the 2022-2023 school year. To share your opinion, click HERE. The survey closes June 30.
Recycling Collections – From time to time schedule adjustments must be made. Notices of are sent email and social media and posted on the website homepage. As per the recycling calendar, if your recycling is not picked up, leave your bin curbside and send an email with your address to

Pet Licensing – Marlboro Police have sent reminder letters to those that have not yet licensed their dogs/cats. As per prior emails, please be aware that effective June 1st there is a $15 late fee imposed for each pet on top of the registration fee, perOrdinance 93-4a . Per Ordinance 93-4b AND 94-8, if a pet is NOT licensed by July 1st, the pet owner is subject to a fine of $50 payable through the court BEFORE a license can be issued. Fines do not apply to new pets, but they must be licensed within 10 days of acquiring the pet. This does NOT apply to a NEW pet. Registration form and information HERE.
COVID-19 Ratepayer Relief Measures –Measures are in place to provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program. Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.
